How fares are calculated?

How fares are calculated

On inDrive, you offer your fare for the ride. Drivers can accept it or make their own bid.
The fare you agree on in the app is final. You do not need to pay anything on top of it.

What is the recommended fare

IThe recommended fare is calculated automatically after you enter both the pickup point and the drop-off point. It can vary based on your location and route. It helps you make a fair offer, but you can change it.

What’s included in the fare

The agreed fare covers the entire ride, including any tolls for highways or airport fees along the route. You don’t need to pay the driver anything on top of the agreed fare.

Toll roads and airport fees

They’re already included in the fare, so the driver pays them during the ride.
Keep these costs in mind when you offer your fare. Tips in the app can help you.

How to set a fare

To offer a fare for drivers:
  1. Enter your pickup and destination points.
  2. Tap ‘Offer your fare’ and enter the amount you want to pay.
  3. Tap ‘Find a driver’.
  4. Drivers can accept your fare or make a different offer. Choose the offer that suits you best.

If the driver suggests another price

Drivers can always respond with an alternative offer. If it works for you, you can accept it right away. If it does not, you can wait for another driver or make a new offer. There’s no limit on how many offers you can get.

Changing the fare during the ride

After you accept a driver’s bid, the fare is final — you can’t change it.
